Spooky Lunch Ideas for Kids | Easy Halloween Bento Lunches

Halloween lunches are one of those little things that make the season feel extra fun around our house. I love making my son’s lunch festive, but it still needs to be easy enough to put together on a school morning.

So I’m keeping a running list of the spooky lunches I make this Halloween season. Nothing too complicated..It’s just regular foods with a few fun Halloween touches. I’ll keep adding new ideas here as we make them!

Spooky Graveyard Bento Lunch

For this one, I used chicken strips for the main part of his lunch and added a few little Halloween details to make the whole thing feel spooky.

The graveyard dirt cup was probably my favorite part. I used chocolate pudding with crumbled Fiber One brownie on top, then added Halloween gummies and a little R.I.P. tombstone.

I also added an orange Trader Joe’s Halloween sandwich cookie, strawberries and raspberries on the side.

It was really simple, but those few little details made his regular lunch so much more fun.

What I packed:

  • Chicken strips

  • Chocolate pudding with crumbled Fiber One brownie

  • Halloween gummies

  • Trader Joe’s Halloween sandwich cookie

  • Strawberries

  • Raspberries

Easy Ways to Make Any Lunch Spooky

You definitely don’t have to make an entirely different lunch for Halloween. A few little accessories can turn foods your kids already eat into a Halloween lunch.

I’m using things like Halloween bento food picks, pumpkin sandwich cutters and mini Halloween cutters throughout the season. I’ll link the ones I use below.
